Our exclusive Golf Club is looking for an experienced small engine mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will work independently in the repairing and maintenance of various gasoline and diesel poweref golf maintenance equipment and the Club’s gasoline golf cart fleet. You will also assist in maintenance program, and have . Excellent pay and benefits!

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Communicate any needs or problems relating to maintenance or repair of equipment

· Inspect, diagnose, adjust and repair mechanical defects/failures in various pieces of golf course maintenance equipment on a regular basis

· Work to prioritize equipment repair and maintenance work

· Set up and modifiy new equipment as needed

· Repair and adjust engines and cutting mechanisms on various heave and light mowing equipment

· Keep maintenance equpipment fueld, oiled and inspected; perform related tasks as required

· Keep up with preventative maintenance schedule, i.e. oil, grease, air, gas, etc.

· Inspect equipment on the course

· Perform other duties as assigned by the Course Superintendent

Physical Requirements

· Prolonged periods of standing and walking

· Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, stretch and twist or reach

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time

· Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and noisy environment
