ABOUT THE ROLE

F&M Trust is seeking a Consumer Lending Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the consumer loan processing function for the bank. The successful candidate will drive consumer loan originations by managing and enhancing consumer loan offerings, partner with bank partners to align complementary product offerings, ensure lending capabilities and efficiencies are optimized, develop and recommend policies and procedures that satisfy quality, volume, and earning objectives in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and more. This individual will lead a team of three Consumer Underwriters and two Consumer Lending Closers, all of which are instrumental in the successful execution of the centralized consumer lending function for the bank. This individual will report directly to the Chief Retail Services Officer of the bank and work closely with partners in other departments.

The home office location for this individual will be at the bank's corporate headquarters located in Chambersburg, PA, or Carlisle, PA. Time spent at both locations will be necessary. A hybrid working arrangement is available after a satisfactory introductory period and successful demonstration of key accountabilities.

This role will receive a salary commensurate on experience and comprehensive benefits package.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Banking experience required.
• Consumer lending experience strongly desired
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strategic and analytical thinking skills.
• Independent worker who can lead a team.
• Incredibly organized and attentive to details.
• Previous experience with Decision Pro and/or Salesforce preferred.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
