New Jersey Community Development Corporation is a multi-faceted community development and social service agency providing opportunities to transform lives in Passaic County. Independence House is a transitional living program for homeless youth and youth aging-out of foster care who are between the ages of 17-21.
We are seeking a dynamic individual to serve as the Life Skills Coordinator. The responsibilities include:
Prospective applicants must have a Bachelors Degree in a human services field with one to three years of experience working with young adults or a High School Diploma with three to seven years of experience working with young adults; excellent organizational skills; ability to work effectively independently or as a member of a team; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; and a valid drivers license. Computer skills are also essential, with experience with Microsoft Word, and Excel, preferred.
