We are a reputable manufacturing company that supports aerospace and DoD organizations nationwide! We are looking for a KPO Leader with extensive CNC experience to join our team.

This is a hands-on role, overseeing a large team of manufacturing professionals in our location in Southern Illinois.

Kaizen Manufacturing Leader Responsibilities :

• Lead and develop the Kaizen Promotion Office (KPO) team to identify and execute process improvements through relentless pursuit of eliminating waste from the manufacturing processes, championing one piece flow, ensuring unwavering quality while safeguarding our employees’.
• Plan and execute kaizen workshops, applying kaizen tools to support processes and flow lines.
• Manage Projects from start to finish including project development, implementation, and review.
• Design, build and implement right size machinery to facilitate one piece flow
• Assist in organizing and follow-up of all Lean activities, SD Projects, and Kaizen Workshops.
• Identify and execute workshops that include people, material and information flow
• Travel to other sites to participate and lead kaizen workshops.
• Research, understand and implement new technologies for cost savings and process improvements.

Kaizen Manufacturing Leader Qualifications :

• Must be self-motivated with a sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and adaptability.
• Must have worked in a CNC Machining facility previously
• Demonstrated kaizen experience and sound understand of kaizen tool use.
• Strong understanding of mechanical components and machine design.
• Minimum of college degree or significant work experience equivalent, engineering preferred.
