Marine Corps Community Services is Hiring a VENDING MACHINE ATTENDANT Near Jacksonville, NC

This position is located with the Services Division in various Vending locations.

Major Duties

What to Expect

  • Receives, loads and unloads vending merchandise for delivery to vending machine locations.
  • Drives vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of up to 26,000 pounds over public roads at highway speeds under all traffic conditions to transport merchandise.
  • Monitors brands and sale prices to ensure adequate stocking levels and compliance with approved selling prices.
  • Works inside and outside and may be exposed to inclement weather conditions. Drives in all types of weather on public roads. Exposed to dirt, dust and the possibility of cuts and bruises.
  • Light to moderate effort is required in bending, stooping, lifting and stocking. Lifts and carries objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lb with assistance.
  • Independently fills and cleans machines.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

  • Driver's license is required.
  • Experience that demonstrates knowledge of vending methods, practices and procedures is preferred.
  • Skill to load and arrange cargo to prevent shifting, falling, and breakage in vehicle.
  • Skill to operate vehicles safely with a gross vehicle weight up to 26,000 pounds.
  • Ability to read and understand road maps and to determine shortest and safest route for both short and long routes.
