Position Title: Partnership Development Manager
Position Type: FTE 40 hrs/wk
Compensation: Base Salary Commissions (Average Annualized Compensation: $80K )
Hours: 8am to 5pm, M-F
Work Location: M-Th In-Office, Flex Fridays

Job Description:

As an Agency Partner Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth and development of our agency partnerships. You will leverage your networking skills and industry expertise to identify potential partners, engage with them, and establish mutually beneficial relationships. This role requires a proactive and strategic individual with a passion for business development, exceptional communication skills, and a knack for building rapport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential agency partners that align with our company's goals, target market, and strategic objectives.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership development strategy, including outreach plans, engagement tactics, and partnership program frameworks.

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build relationships with key stakeholders in the agency ecosystem.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and leadership, to develop partnership programs, incentives, and resources that drive partner engagement and revenue growth.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for agency partners, fostering open communication, addressing inquiries, and providing ongoing support.

  • Conduct regular meetings and check-ins with agency partners to assess partnership performance, identify opportunities for collaboration, and address any challenges or concerns.

  • Develop and implement strategies to measure the success and impact of agency partnerships, tracking key performance metrics and making data-driven recommendations for optimization.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to identify new partnership prospects and drive continuous improvement in partnership initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of college in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent industry experience.

  • Proven experience in partnership development, business development, or account management, preferably within the [industry/niche].

  • Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and influence decision-makers.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for partnership growth and expansion.

  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding partnership goals and targets.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Willingness to travel to attend events and meet with potential and existing agency partners as needed.

  • Technical aptitude is a must. You will be conversing with people who live and breathe interactive technologies, so if you love technology, you'll love this.

  • The ability to be trained quickly, and then turn around and apply it fast.

  • Professional conduct and quality speaking skills are essential to a role where you make contact by phone.

  • Must be a very good writer, not just an average writer.

  • Having worked for or with creative or interactive agencies is a plus, but this skillset leans more technical than creative.

  • Screening criteria will include

    • Criminal background check

    • US citizenship or valid work visa

    • Solid references from previous work managers (not coworkers)
