Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic Camp Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer camp program. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for campers.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage campers in various recreational activities and games
- Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational programs
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Assist in the setup, cleanup, and organization of camp activities
- Provide guidance and support to campers to promote positive behavior
- Collaborate with fellow counselors to create a fun and inclusive environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in settings such as education, daycare, childcare, or babysitting
- Knowledge of childhood development and behavior management techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage groups of children with patience and enthusiasm
- Background in early childhood education or theater is a plus
