Job Duties :

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
• Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
• Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
• Assist with medical records management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
• Coordinate patient referrals to other healthcare providers or specialists
• Provide general administrative support, such as sorting mail, ordering supplies, and maintaining office cleanliness

Skills :

• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (such as Eclinical Works)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
