Please visit our Mission, Vision, and Values page to learn more. Job Overview: To provide set-up and dismantle tasks along with other event operation needs. Duties/Responsibilities:
Complete tasks required in preparation for, execution of, or dismantling of an event, which may include sweeping, vacuuming, public restroom cleaning, glass cleaning, etc.
Escort caterers and other vendors through security entrances
Physical set up and dismantling of tables, chairs, art protectors and other items as needed for events in Museum Venues; dismantle of same at conclusion of event. Resetting spaces for regular Museum activities.
Clearing glasses and trash from guest tables and other areas throughout the event as needed; monitoring the floor areas for spills to keep guest areas safe.
Provide bar stocking and support services.
Regular monitoring of the restroom facilities for adequate supplies, emptying trash as needed, wiping down counters and ensuring floor surfaces are litter free and dry.
Position requires proof of immunization for HepB or signing a declination waiver for Hep B
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age (due to alcohol services)
Ability to follow direction
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and negotiate stairs
Ability to work within a secure environment with varying supervision
Ability to engage positively with diverse groups of people in a public setting

Ability to react to changing needs and demands in a positive way
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent. preferred
EXPERIENCE:
Previous event experience preferred SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Hepatitis B Vaccination or Waiver
Occasionally work evenings and weekends to support events
