Barista
Reports to : Manager
Position Summary:
The Barista is in charge of making, ringing up and serving all drinks at a fast pace. This will include, but not limited to engaging in conversation with each customer in an outgoing and professional manner to ensure each customer leaves with an amazing drink and a smile on their face. The Barista will keep the entire stand stocked and clean in between and after rushes while performing any and all tasks asked to do by the manager.

● Regularly receives positive feedback from customers and coworkers
● Maintains a clean and positive stand environment
● Takes time to learn about coffee and educate others
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Barista must make and serve specialty drinks and other beverages in accordance with the menu items, recipes and training
● Establish and maintain good rapport with customers (ex. Memorizing customers names and favorite drinks.)
● Is able to multitask in a high stress environment
● Must maintain high sales
● Maintains a positive outgoing attitude with coworkers and customers
● Maintains the highest quality, consistent product standards
● Accurately rings sales orders into cash register
● Regularly stocks and replenishes empty syrups, sauces , powder bins
● Barista maintains a clean and sanitized work area
● Barista routinely cleans bar area, floor, windows, and takes out the trash
● Keeps equipment clean and in running order
● Informs the manger of any operational issues
● Follows complete opening/closing guidelines – must sign before starting
● Follows health and safety guidelines. Must have current health card posted in stand
● Is able to lift 30 lbs and stand on feet all day
● **must be legal to work in the U.S.**
