Small vibrant litigation law firm is looking to hire a Legal Secretary/Paralegal with 3 years of experience to join the team. Our practice includes representing property owners in property damage claims and insurance coverage disputes through all aspects of litigation from inception through trial in State and Federal Courts.

The candidate will be answering phones; interfacing with clients, attorneys, and court personnel; scheduling meetings and depositions; drafting and e-filing legal documents; responding to discovery demands; maintaining attorney calendars; assisting with case preparation; ordering/managing office supplies; and performing light administrative work. The ability to multitask is important.

The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with:

• 3 years of legal secretarial/paralegal experience;
• Experience in e-filing documents in New York State (NYSCEF) & Federal Courts (Pacer);
• Strong ability to multitask; and
• Experience with client managment software (Clio) is a plus.
