Akkodis is seeking a Network Equipment Repair Technician for a job opening in West Chester, PA. The position would be contract to hire and on-site. The person should have experience repairing to the component level. The person would repair boards, routers, switches and other equipment.

Pay Rate Range: $22-30/hr

Network Equipment Repair Technician job responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting and repair of equipment to the component level
• Soldering to repair, modify, and change parts on electronic circuit boards
• Tests, troubleshoots, and repair of routers and switches, frames, or chassis used for telecommunications transport and switching equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience repairing electronics to the component level
• Juniper, Cisco, Nokia, Alcatel Lucent (ALU) experience a plus
• Experience with network, switching, and optical transport equipment
• Soldering skills
• Technical 2 year with Electronics Certification or 4-year engineering Degree preferred
