Position reports to: Director of Sales
SummaryManages large system accounts, under the direction of the Director of Sales. Generates new business and ensures growth of existing accounts. Assesses potential application of company products or services and offers solutions that meet customer needs.
Job DutiesThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Make sales calls to selected system integrators and follow through with appropriate quotations.
- Research and make presentations showing potential customers the cost benefit of purchasing company products or services.
- Provide technical training to clients and communicate customer feedback for future product developments.
- Use technical knowledge of product offerings to support and build sales.
- Enters and maintains orders in Epicor.
- Utilize “Cradle to Grave” approach in taking key integrator/end-user business from Quote to Sales through Project Management.
- Periodic overnight travel required.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in both Engineering and Sales. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervison. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Must have valid Driver’s License. P.E. Certification is preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and basic instruction. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Requires the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions, ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
