Staffworks is Hiring a Quality Control Lab Technician Near Watertown, CT

This position facilitates the accurate and timely completion of all quality control testing as required by the company Quality program. This position supports and is accountable for the Quality and Food Safety policies in place by the company.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own quality control testing raw materials, in-process testing, and finished goods. Communicate results as required in a timely fashion, including the release of raw materials, products, and Certificates of Analysis.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with safety procedures, by following chemical hygiene rules including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment, and by working in an organized manner while sharing work spaces with others.
• Ensure proper operation, verification, and calibration of equipment and instrumentation as required.
• Ensure good documentation of all data and processes as described within our laboratory procedures and ensure the protection of intellectual property and proper control of confidential information.
• Other duties include assisting with sample preparation for sales samples, including reacted products, exfoliating beads, and all other laboratory sample QC testing.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Assists with special projects and high-priority objectives.
• Practice and live Company Values to enable personal and business success with a shared purpose.
