Summary E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a highly motivated System Administrator to be a full-time employee in Washington, DC to join our innovative and customer solutions focused team. Job Description The System Administrator will Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
Configure and setup Standalone Development and Integration Networks
Install hardware in racks and perform basic networking function, such as DNS NTP DHCP and assorted other protocols.
Install and configure web services and Java application servers.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems; replace defective components when necessary.
Document system setup
Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
Perform and maintain system backups.
Maintain ticketing and wiki systems.
Management of logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records.
System metrics analysis
Qualification Active Top-Secret clearance
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study
Minimum 9 years of experience
Required Skills Linux/Red Hat knowledge
Basic Microsoft Active Directory knowledge
Advanced knowledge of managed network appliances, switches, routers, firewalls, and time code systems
Ability to configure and setup air gap networks with no internet access.
Able to manage startup scripts and management of other automated systems inside the
Linux operating system platform
Experience coding shell scripts and modifying existing shell scripts.
Understanding of RAID and other redundancy techniques
Must excel in a collaborative, team environment.
