Executive Summary: HRUCKUS seeks a Senior .NET Application Developer with 11-15 years of experience. The candidate has proven professional experience designing, developing, delivering, and enhancing Client-Server/Web-Based/Cloud-Based/Mobile Software Applications using Microsoft .NET Technologies, ASP, and C# (C-Sharp).

Position Description: DHS’s OIS/Application Support Division I is looking for a Senior Application Developer whose primary responsibilities include designing, developing, delivering, and enhancing Client-Server/Web-Based/Cloud-Based/Mobile Software Applications using application software development languages/environments with .NET/ASP/Visual C#.

The candidate will implement and manage business-aligned IT services, ensure the application platform is high-quality and defect-free, and adhere to industry standards for development, testing, and deployment methodologies.

The successful candidates will demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, characteristics, experiences, and abilities:

• Must have experience with .NET/ASP/Visual C#, SQL Server, SQL/Procedural Language. Hands-on experience with any of the following is favorable: Java, XML, HTML, JavaScript, BPEL, PHP, and WebLogic.
• Capable of designing, developing, and deploying applications that support users on the case and program management applications.
• Provides mentorship and technical advice to an Application/Reports/Query developers team.
• Provides strategic advice to the lead, management, and customers of the OIS.

Position Duties:

• Troubleshoot production issues.
• Work with the Business Analysts to understand the assigned application's current and new business processes and formulate IT solutions to improve efficiency.
• Build out enhanced reporting and dashboard capabilities.
• Perform proactive application monitoring activities, including enhanced audit log tracking, and conduct system upgrades and enhancements as required.
• The candidate will become an integral part of the ASD Team, making every problem associated with the platform a problem of their own, and will demonstrate the required initiative and critical thinking abilities necessary to resolve all issues and challenges accordingly.
• This individual will work closely with DHS OIS and its partner agencies to ensure the agencies’ priorities are met. This is a position within the DHS OIS Division.
