Bradken is seeking a talented and experienced
Dimensional Inspection Supervisor
to lead our dimensional inspection department. As a Dimensional Inspection Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing department personnel, ensuring compliance with plant policies and procedures, and achieving our business units mission and business plan.
Responsibilities:
Train employees on work instructions, procedures, and hands-on functions, documenting training records.
Review 1st article/sample parts for readiness and address any issues.
Create layout procedures and address dimensional issues, ensuring job safety analysis.
Manage tool calibration compliance, including purchase requisitions and scheduling.
Develop and maintain Quality control standards, ensuring consistent application through staff training.
Take corrective action based on analysis of operations, quality records, and customer complaints.
Review final dimensional reports for compliance prior to release.
Track standard hours and review distribution for layout operations.
Document nonconforming conditions using Bradken Tacomas established NMR program.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. College or trade school certification preferred.
3-5 years of experience as a dimensional inspector or similar experience such as carpentry, machining, or pattern making.
Familiarity with casting and machine geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing.
Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment.
CMM Metrology software or similar experience (preferred).
Math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, and trigonometry.
Computer skills: Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Attention to detail with a specific motivation for accuracy.
Ability to learn new software and hardware systems.
Ability to work with others.
Ability to use various methods of measurement.
Ability to prioritize and maintain scheduling compliance.
