Key Requirements * Must be a U.S. citizen * Must be able to obtain a Top Secret-SCI clearance Mission Statement: The mission of the FBI is to protect the American People and uphold the Constitution of the United States. Major Duties: GS12: * Provide specialized and authoritative guidance on any written material requested by or supporting the Information & Technology Branch Executive Assistant Director and strategic partners.
* Serve as a writer, editor, and proofreader for communications products, as well as executive-to-workforce and executive-to-executive messaging.
* Produce complex written communications, emails, articles, speeches, and reports utilizing exceptional writing and editing abilities to formulate a professional product.
* Collaborate with and advise stakeholders on communications plans and products, as well as branding and style standards.
* Produce strategic communications campaigns and associated written products for broad distribution and targeted audiences.
* Complete related duties as assigned, including brand and style guidance documentation, website content, podcast and video scripts, and other written products.
In addition to the above duties: GS13: * Communicate with partners and subject matter experts to verify information, clarify text, obtain supporting documentation, and coordinate delivery of finished products.
* Review current communications products and templates to determine areas needing improvement.
* Brief and advise executive management on complex communications plans, products, and strategies. * Experience working in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines and changing priorities.
* Experience briefing and advising executive management and strategic partners on communications matters.
In addition to the above SE: GS13: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS12 grade level. SE is defined as follows: * Experience gathering, developing, and checking the accuracy of information using a variety of internal and external sources.
