Merchandising Assistant
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to plan and execute product assortments, pricing strategies, and product promotions.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of merchandise and maintain accurate records of inventory levels and sales data.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing reports and maintaining files and records, including following up on purchase orders.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Support merchandising and warehouse operations teams by collecting and preparing the information needed for data entry records, monitoring current products, reporting errors, and maintaining product information in various systems.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders and external vendors and customers to ensure all of their needs are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- An Associate Degree is required. A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or a related field is preferred.
- 1 years of experience supporting merchandising, preferably in the retail industry.
- Bilingual in English/Chinese is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other software programs.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail skills to perform and record data accurately.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be flexible in dealing with various obstacles and changes.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift to 20 pounds at times
