About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Leader to spearhead our Financial Services practice. Our passionate and committed fintech team serves as the ideal partner for financial software development within leading fintech organizations and financial institutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies, building strong client relationships, and fostering a thriving team environment. The Leader acts as the glue between our clients and our high performing delivery teams, serving as a primary subject matter expert throughout pre- and post-sales activities, ensuring our ability to achieve desired outcomes.

We are looking for a unique, networked, strategic leader with hands-on fintech experience who can speak our clients' language and translate needs into meaningful opportunities to engage 10Pearls as their development partner of choice. The leader should be fluent in fintech and digital solutions and be comfortable committing to meeting and exceeding revenue targets. The leader will drive a consultative sales approach and bring the rolodex to get us in the door. The leader will be the primary driver of revenue for the organization and will enable us to showcase our collective expertise to leading fintech organizations and financial institutions worldwide.

This position requires up to 25% travel to support client projects and prospecting at industry events. Ideally the candidate is based in the Washington DC area, but consideration will be given to all candidates regardless of location.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the Financial Services practice, including identifying new market opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
• Simultaneously lead diverse, and geographically distributed delivery teams of talented software professionals, including consultants, developers, and solution architects, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at fintech and financial services companies, understanding their unique challenges and consulting on solutions that can be created to meet their needs.
• A "Player-Coach" who can strategically engage with our clients and 10Pearls leadership at CXO level, and be willing in rolling up their sleeves with marketing, finance and program delivery teams.
• Stay current on industry trends and innovations in financial services technology and facilitate knowledge sharing to ensure the team has the expertise to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
• Develop and deliver high-impact presentations to prospective and existing clients, effectively communicating the 10Pearls value proposition.
• Partner with internal teams (executive management, project delivery, customer success, marketing, sales) to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and coordinate project delivery.
• Recruit, onboard, and mentor top talent to build best-in-class teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, computer science, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in financial services, with a proven track record of success in business development, sales, or product management.
• 5 years of experience leading and managing a team focused on strategic consulting and/or custom development services in the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry, its current challenges, and emerging technologies.
• Hands on experience working with fintech organizations and financial institutions. Preferably with prior experience as a fintech practitioner.
• Trusted by clients as a source for ongoing financial services strategic expertise.
• Ability to participate beyond the sales cycle and help ensure stellar execution of projects and client references.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans with strong financial acumen, including experience with sales forecasting, financial modeling and resource utilization.
• Ability to travel as needed.
