***Family Advocates Wanted***! At Family & Children's Services, our Family Support Specialists provide:

* Family-centered support services, advocacy, case management, and develop Family Success Plans

* Daily Head Start/Early Head Start Center visits, liaison for parent and school involvement.

* Facilitate and collaborate with program partners for social services links, referrals, and crisis intervention.

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's Degree (Social Service-related preferred, Education or Criminal Justice considered)

* Prefer two years of work experience in a social services-related field

* Generally has 1-2 years experience working with youth/adults/families, case management/home visitation, skilled in group facilitation.

* Knowledge of community resources.

* Ability to handle multiple tasks; strong interpersonal skills; culturally-competent

* Possess a valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record and use a personal automobile to travel to locations other than the primary office.
