Responsibilities:

• Teach students in historical content.
• Prepare lessons for monthly seminars.
• Make sure lessons are effective using Bloom's Taxonomy.
• Interact with students in the classroom in a very quiet, calm manner.
• Maintain discipline in the classroom.

Teach in an Alternative Charter School in a quiet, library setting

• Work one-on-one with students in individualized/personalized instruction
• Use Personalized Learning, digital curriculum & textbooks with teacher input/design
• Be passionate about teaching historical content
• Develop & Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, staff, & administration
• Assume leadership/sponsorship of at least one student activity/club/sport
• Maintain the health & safety of all students

Bachelor's Degree in History or 24 college credits in History courses, with 1-3 years teaching experience preferred , but not required

• Current Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP)
