General Description :

Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Fitness Center Attendant must have a passion for fitness and excellent customer services.

The attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and safe fitness environment for all members at all times.

The Fitness Center Attendant will exhibit a positive, helpful and friendly attitude ensuring an exceptional experience for members and guests.

The position shall exemplify the desired Culture of Choice® and philosophies of Parrish Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities :

Demonstrates excellent customer service with a positive enthusiastic attitude, ability to engage members and guests with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and demonstrate behaviors consistent with the standards contained in the Mission, Vision and Values of Parrish Healthcare.

Prevention, evaluation, management, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries under the approval of the team physician.

• Engages members and guests to demonstrate proper use of center stations and associated equipment.
• Answers questions within the scope of this position and effectively refers to Supervisor for all other member questions / concerns.
• Ensures the center remains sanitized, clean and organized at all times to include organizing, cleaning and sanitizing fitness stations and equipment after each scheduled session.
• Hourly rounding of restrooms to ensure a safe, clean environment for all members.
• Report maintenance, repair or supply needs to Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Assist in adherence of fitness center policies by all members.
• Proficient in use and member instruction of fitness center scheduling and member software.
• Performs similar or related duties as assigned.
• Knows fire, disaster and safety procedures and regulations as it pertains to the work area.
