Job Title Data ArchitectLocation Tallahassee, Florida (Remote)Job DescriptionDELIVERABLES/TASKS
- Responsible for enterprise-wide data design, balancing optimization of data access with
- Knowledgeable in most aspects of designing and constructing data architectures,
- Focuses on enterprise-wide data modeling and design.
- Defines data architecture standards, policies and procedures for the organization,
content standards to technology projects.
- Responsible for business analysis, data acquisition and access analysis and design,
implementation.
- Works with other architects on data decisions and data strategy.
- Identifies data sources needed for solution.
- Ensures data security is implemented for solutions.

- Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems,
Required Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience with large and complex database management systems.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience with providing technical support for maintenance of new and existing servers and database infrastructure services.
- Advanced level experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
- Leadership experience with managing and completing complex projects relevant to server/database infrastructure services;
- Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications, systems design, and integration.
- Experience with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and/or familiarity with other Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
- Proven work experience as Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Steward, or similar role.
- In-depth understanding of database structure principles.
- Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements.
- Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques.
- Expertise in SQL and other relational database management systems (mySQL, MongoDB, SAS)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (tableau, D3.js, and R)
