STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

Responsibilities of the Medical Director include, but are not limited to, the following 1. Serves as a consultant to the management team of the organization in the area of medically related client needs. 2. Participates actively on the professional advisory committee. 3. Is a role model to the physician community. 4. Intervenes in clinically related crises when medically related client needs exist. 5. Promotes home health care through verbal and written community physician practice groups. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• 1. Holds current license to practice medicine in the state of Oklahoma.
• 2. Has at least five years experience in the practice of medicine.
• 3. Is familiar with the philosophical and technical aspects of home healthcare.
• 4. Has ability to work as a member of the home care team.
• 5. Has excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• 6. Is familiar with principles of quality management and ethical issues in home health care.
