The Role

The Parts Lead is a crucial liaison between our vendors and recon teams with a primary focus on parts availability and parts cost. They will coordinate daily with several departments and stakeholders to support recon operations and be responsible for daily administrative activities.

What will you be doing at Tricolor?

• Partner with Vendors and Recon Managers to maintain high parts availability and quickly resolve backorder delays – Find the part needed at the best cost.
• Order parts from vendors, track demand and monitor inventory through cycle-counts.
• Search for, select and onboard new vendors and track & report on vendor performance.
• Maintain and review business records to identify areas of improvement and cost reduction.
• Create and update training materials related to warranty, parts, labor and standard departmental practices.
• Track & support warranty repairs on customer units.
• Be willing & able to remove & replace common parts when needed.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Knows and understands the Tricolor Auto Privacy and Information Security Policies and adheres to the requirements.

This is the right opportunity for you if you are…

• 3 years of automotive dealership parts and/or aftermarket parts or used parts experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a supervisor role
• Knowledge of auto parts, automotive systems and tools, tech experience a plus.
• Intermediate or Advanced level in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Team player and go-getter with strong customer service skills and excellent communication.
• Bilingual Spanish/ English preferred
