Sudbury Elite Smiles is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Sudbury, MA

Job Summary:
Are you eager to kickstart a career in the dental field? Look no further! We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Dental Assistant. No prior experience or dental assistant license is required - we're committed to providing comprehensive training to the right candidate.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential
  • Basic computer skills; willingness to learn our office management software

Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments following aseptic technique
- Assist dentists during procedures, including X-rays and impressions
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar systems
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality

Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in dental assisting
- Knowledge of dental software
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with dental anatomy and terminology
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems is a plus
- Experience working with pediatric patients is advantageous
- Ability to perform front office duties as needed, such as dental receptionist tasks
