Provide technical services and support for the following areas:

• Design, implement, and manage the organization’s network infrastructure using Cisco technology.
• Monitor network performance and integrity.
• Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.
• Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness. Support issues related to WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, security, and remote access solutions.
• Work with Senior Security Engineer to create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery).
• Communicate with users when needed.
• Maintain complete technical documentation.
• Implement and manage Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
• Have a base knowledge of O365 Defender, InTune and Purview
• Respond to persistent security threat alerts, malware and ransomware threats along with the Senior Network Security Engineer
• Perform network assessments
• Participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review
• Work with the IT Team to Engineer projects, identify new products and solutions, and research solutions for existing clients
• Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure
• Communication with internal customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
• Be available for after hour emergencies as defined by department policies

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’’ experience working in a similar role
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Certifications in Cisco Network, Network Security, or Microsoft Azure.

• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Proven experience as an IT Engineer, Network Engineer, or similar role.
• Experience with Cisco Network and Network Security.
• Experience with Meraki a plus.
• Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
