Job Description
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Receives materials from common carriers and suppliers.
• Inspects and counts incoming materials; verifies against order for correctness and condition. Reports deviations to Warehouse Manager, Lead material Handler or Purchasing Coordinator.
• Stores materials in warehouses and obtains proper paperwork authorizing storage form other departments for non-inventory assets.
• Fills orders and issues supplies upon receipt of approved requisition or transfer request.
• Delivers materials to user departments. Verifies correctness of orders with receiving departments and obtains authorized signature on Warehouse Transfer receipt.
• Assists in inventory counts of all materials.
• Obtains required signatures on receipts and bills of lading and maintains required reports and records.
• Makes special deliveries and pickups as assigned.
• Operates company vehicles and material-handling equipment in a safe manner as assigned.
• Keeps Warehouse clean and orderly.
• Uses extreme care in the handling, issuing, storing, retrieving and disposing of stored files.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good mathematical and clerical aptitude
• Literate and fluent in English
• Valid drivers' license; must be able to be insured to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to operate trucks with manual transmission and be able to pass a medical examination for certification through Nevada.
• Ability to act in situations of urgency.
• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse departments.
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
• Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to constantly lift large, heavy objects weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to frequently lift large, heavy objects weighing 60-90 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally lift large, heavy objects weighing 90 lbs.
• Visual field must include near to far distances.
• Mobility to move easily around the warehouse areas.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to grasp, hold, bend, reach.
• Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift.
• Auditory range must include immediate environment.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Ability to frequently work in extreme indoor temps.
• Ability to occasionally work in extreme outdoor temps.

Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
