**JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:**

Residence Life Office is looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join the team. The Quarantine and Isolation Assistant Manager is a vital part of the team in helping to continue the vision and mission of the department. They are responsible to a Quarantine and Isolation Manager and attention to detail is imperative.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Assists with the daily operation and organization of the area

* Coordinates incoming information from UHS (University Health Services), HUB (Hetzel Union Building) testing, MNMC (Mount Nittany Medical Center), and Contact Tracing

* Initiates contact with students to transition student into quarantine or isolation space

* Manage digital communication and serves as a resource for students during the check-in process

* Manage the placement of students into quarantine or isolation space

* Indirect supervision and/or training of quarantine and isolation coordinators

* Assists in promoting the safety and security of residents

* Assists in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with Housing and Food Services, Police and Public Safety, Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, etc.

* Performs other duties, as assigned

Typically requires a Master's Degree or higher plus one year of related experience. This is a limited-term staff appointment funded for up to six months from date of hire.
