Actalent is Hiring a QC Technician Near St Louis, MO
Always understand and demonstrate safe work practices while working.
Monitor the statistical process control (SPC) software suite called gainseeker.
Monitor, measure, and document given line processes to assure conformance to product Master specifications.
Examine and document packaging components and finished product assembly for conformance to product Master specifications.
Program, calibrate and assist in the setup of Hi-Speed check weighers, Videojet, and Marsh coders.
Program and monitor the Automated Inventory Management system for identifying and tracking finished production.
Place non-conforming product on hold for disposition by the QC Manager.
Pull product retain samples.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- HS diploma minimum with experience or Associates in lab related discipline
- Ideally seeking candidates who have worked in a regulated or Quality Control environment before
- Must possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, conversions) to quickly make determinations based on line
