We're looking for a Licensed Optician to join our team and play a crucial role in providing exceptional eye care services. As a Licensed Optician, you will help patients with their eyewear needs, ensuring they receive the best service and products. Your responsibilities will include working with patients to find the perfect eyewear, maintaining optical equipment, and supporting the daily operations of the optical department. Responsibilities-
-Customer Service: Help patients choose the right eyewear based on their prescription and style preferences.
-Prescription Interpretation:Read and dispense prescriptions from doctors.
- Frame and Lens Selection:Advise on lens options and frame styles.
- Measurements:Take precise measurements for a proper fit.
- Adjustments and Repairs: Adjust and repair eyewear for comfort and vision accuracy.
- Sales:Promote products and drive sales while maintaining product knowledge.
- Inventory Management:Keep track of inventory and order supplies.
- Compliance:Follow state and federal regulations and keep accurate records.
-Team Collaboration:Work with other staff to provide excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Licensure:Valid optician’s license in the state.
- Education:High school diploma or equivalent; optician certification preferred.
- Experience:Previous optician or optical sales experience.
Skills:
- Strong customer service and communication
- Detail-oriented and good with hands-on tasks
- Able to multitask and manage time well
- Proficient with optical equipment and software

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
