You will build a strong eCommerce business presence to better serve our customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From deli and bakery to fresh produce, center store and everything between. URM Stores offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee retailer partnerships with prominent RMN partners, notably Instacart and GiveX, ensuring strategic alignment and maximizing mutual value and opportunities.
  • Drive the development of tailored solutions and initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of retail media campaigns, optimizing targeting, engagement, and overall performance.
  • Maintain a pulse on industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving consumer behaviors to inform strategic decision-making and ensure URM Stores' positioning as a leader in retail media innovation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to scale up CPG brand relationships, fostering collaborations that drive revenue growth and brand visibility within the retail media network.
  • Assist Members and retailers with initiatives to grow/develop/ maximize their RMN footprint by developing new options that they are not currently utilizing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to identify, evaluate, and capitalize on emerging trends, opportunities, and innovations in the RMN landscape.
  • Establish and maintain a P&L framework for retail media activities, analyzing financial performance and optimizing investments to ensure profitability and ROI.
  • Strategize on how private label offerings align with and enhance the overall RMN strategy, integrating private label products into targeted retail media campaigns to drive brand loyalty and sales growth.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success and impact of RMN partnerships and initiatives, implementing data-driven insights to refine strategies and achieve desired outcomes.
  • You will utilize digital tools and techniques as part of an overall branding, advertising, and communications strategy. To include social media, search engine optimization, consumer-generated content, video and viral marketing, display and mobile advertising, interactive technologies, etc.
  • Create and implement an effective content marketing strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives. This will include content creation, distribution, promotion, and measurement. Leverage different digital channels and platforms to reach and engage with target audiences.
  • Implement a successful social media strategy as a component of a communications plan. The tactical implementation details associated with a social media strategy will also be an important component of the class e.g. social media measurement tools and calculation of return on investment.

Qualifications:

  • Strong educational background: A degree in Marketing, E-Business, E-Commerce, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience, provides the necessary expertise for success in this role.
  • Proven experience in retail media, marketing, partnerships, or related fields within the retail or CPG industry.
  • Strong understanding of Retail Media Networks, e-commerce channels, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Leadership Skills: You must have the ability to speak with senior executives and store owners with ease. You can articulate a clear strategy and make recommendations. 
  • Experience working as a tech lead, showcasing the ability to guide and mentor a team, manage projects, and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Community involvement: Active participation in the community through blog posts, papers, or conference talks, highlighting a commitment to knowledge sharing and staying at the forefront of advancements in the field.
