Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take customer orders and enter them into the POS system
- Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change to customers
- Assist with food preparation and ensure food is delivered to the correct table
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Follow all food safety and handling procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry preferred
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a POS system
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
