OBJECTIVE SUMMARY: The Patient Access Department Lead oversees the daily operations of all Patient Access sub-departments. The lead partners closely with the Patient Access Manager to provide leadership coverage and presence to the registration staff in the hospital and clinics. This individual is responsible for ensuring the effective operations through organizing, scheduling, and monitoring department workloads. In addition, will monitor quality and productivity metrics and coordinates training as needed. The lead will serve as the first line of escalation for staff questions on workflows and go-to resource for staff. This position is customer service driven and the applicant must have the ability to effectively promote an exceptional patient experience while working in a highly stressful environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: AA degree or Three years of professional experience in a medical office or related healthcare field.
