Job Designation
The Production Assembler II performs a variety of routinemechanical and / or electromechanical assembly operations undermoderate guidance and in accordance with company policy and safetyprocedures.
Job CoreResponsibilities
- Performsa variety of routine mechanical and / or electromechanical assemblyoperations in accordance with company instructions andprocedures
- Conducts inspections of own and / orother associates work to insure correctness in accordance withcompany and / or customer drawing
- Appliesprocess specifications governing the production of product withinan assigned cell records production time and quantitydata
- Maintains work area under companyguidelines and participates in events as required
- Provides simple welding tasks and / or brazing or solderingand may operate light machinery such as sand blaster or electroetching processing and press
- Activelydemonstrates all safety policies and procedures
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Job Specifications
Education : A Secondary Certificate / HighSchool Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education andwork experience that will allow successful performance of jobexpectations is preferred.
Certifications : Vocational trainingapprenticeships or the equivalent experience in relatedfield
Years Experience : 25years of relevant experience
Skills :
- Skilled at routine mechanical and / or electromechanicalassembly operations
- Able to operate a varietyof hand tools and machinery
- Ability to readand interpret company documents such as safety rulesoperating / manufacturing instructions policies andprocedures
- Good manual dexterity required towork with small parts
- Capable of recognizingand solving typical problems that can occur in own work area;evaluates and selects solutions from established options
- Effective oral written and interpersonalskills
