Looking for Solids Control Technicians in Shreveport, La!!!
Pay Rate: $21.50 - $24 / hour
Flights not provided.
Per Diem: $30 / day
Rotation: 20 / 10 (12 hour shifts, rotate day shift and night shift each hitch)
This is a Field Position, they will be on site during their full 20 day rotation. Housing is provided on site.
Candidate is responsible for their own transportation to and from their rotation, but we will reimburse mileage up to 1000 miles roundtrip for each hitch (at standard IRS rate).
Job Summary:
- Provide onsite services to the operator for Solids Control equipment.
- Advise customer representatives on product application and installation.
- Prepare operational and technical reports for customers.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Determine operation parameters for equipment and systems
- Clean, maintain, and run unit equipment to optimize operating parameters
- Inspect, test, service and repair equipment to ensure working condition
- Assemble and install equipment for operation
- Monitor, operate and control equipment
- Manage spare parts and equipment inventory
- Document equipment operations for future use and traceability purposes through daily reporting procedures common to the area
- Converse with operator and contractor personnel about routine operating procedures and services related to equipment operation
- Prepare equipment maintenance reports
- Evaluate equipment installation to determine if equipment has been misapplied
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to complete equipment repairs
- Gather operating information to make necessary changes to optimize equipment performance
- Review reports to detect changes in system parameters
- Explain product function and tips on troubleshooting to customer and rig personnel.
- Assemble, install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair solids control equipment for the customer.

- Excavators/Front Loaders.
Education Requirements:
High school to Bachelors.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience specifically in Solids Control equipment is required.
- Dewatering experience is a plus.
- Previous oilfield experience is required.
- Looking for a candidate with Solid Controls background with a minimum of 3 years experience, good communication skills, good team player, detail oriented, troubleshooting skills, highly motivated candidate that values the importance of HSE and follows our safety protocols.
- Local candidates preferred.
- DEWATER EXPERIENCE /RHE-USE EXPERIENCE
- Required before start to have successfully completed a SafeLand USA orientation program and carry an official photo-ID badge indicating they have completed it.
