Description:
This facility is responsible for manufacturing toughened glass specifically for automotive applications. This facility has 42 robotics that are primarily ABB, some Fanuc. Other equipment will be Glasstech furnaces, Casso Solar ovens, presses, Bando cutting lines, multiple conveyor systems, and Keyence/Cognex vision systems.
This Controls Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Designing and overseeing the build of control panels required new projects
- Creation of new control systems
- Responsible for integration and commissioning of new and/or legacy equipment
- Be proficient in reading and creating electrical diagrams
- Ability to work in compliance with all safety local rules and regulations
- Programming and designing automated equipment
LOOKING FOR:
1. Associates in Engineering
2. 3 years of experience with Allen Bradley PLCS (PLC-5, RSLogix500, and Studio5000)
3. Experience with Allen Bradley Motion Control (AC/DC drives)
4. Experience with Allen Bradley HMI (FactoryTalk View)
NICE TO HAVE:
1. AutoCAD Electrical experience
2. Bachelors degree in Engineering
