Smile Partners Recruitment is working with Dr. Hildebrand to find a Oral Surgery Dental Assistant for his growing team in Shelby Township!

Dr. Hildebrand's practice is a high end, reputable, oral surgery office, that is committed to providing convenient, quality care that is cost effective for our patients. The team is well trained, compassionate and efficient. The ideal candidate is someone that loves working with patients to achieve their smile goals with previous assisting experience, particularly surgical.

Duties:

Patient Preparation:

Escorting patients to the treatment room and ensuring they are comfortable.
Taking and recording vital signs such as blood pressure and pulse.
Explaining the procedure to the patient and answering any questions they may have.

Assisting During Surgery:

Setting up the surgical room and ensuring all instruments and materials are sterilized and ready.
Assisting the oral surgeon during procedures by handing instruments, operating suction devices, and managing patient comfort.
Monitoring the patient’s condition throughout the procedure.

Post-Surgical Care:

Providing patients with post-operative instructions for home care.
Assisting in the application of dressings and managing any immediate post-operative care.
Monitoring patients during recovery and providing assistance as needed.

Sterilization and Infection Control:

Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
Maintaining a clean and organized surgical environment.
Adhering to infection control protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous dental experience required
• Oral surgery experience a plus!

Full Time Schedule:

• Monday 7am-4:30
• Tuesday 7am-1pm
• Wednesday 7am-5pm
• Thursday 1pm-6pm
• Friday 7am-3pm
