Rockline Industries is a global private-label light industrial manufacturer of wet wipes and coffee filter products. Sheboygan facility specializes in hard surface disinfectant canister wipes, various coffee filters and baking cup products utilizing high-speed paper converting and packaging.

Title : Chemist I

Shift : Rotating 3rd / Night Shift (D); 5 : 30PM-5 : 30AM

• 2-2-3 Rotating Work Schedule (every other weekend)
• Only work 3 to 4 days per week while enjoying full-time hours and benefits.
• $2.00 / hr 3rd / Night Shift Premium

Compensation :

• Starting range from $23 - $26 per hour based on experience
• Additional $2.00 / hour shift premium

Essential Accountabilities :

• Ensuring cGMP and GLP requirements are followed in the laboratory
• Maintaining the Lab in Audit-Ready mode
• Providing accurate product analysis data to support continuous production
• Providing back-up support to the Micro laboratory and the Micro needs of the plant
• Providing daily / weekly maintenance of all analytical instrumentation
• Maintaining revisions to lab work instructions and test methods
• Reviewing analytical results for other chemists to ensure RFT on results

Are you ready for the challenge? If so, here’s what you will need :

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field required.
• 0-3 Years experience in QC Lab
• Laboratory qualitative and quantitative analysis skills
• Strong math skills
• High Problem-solving skills, thinking out of the box, innovative approaches to roadblocks
• Instrumentation course work; attendance at A. C. S. Short Courses
• Experience with microbiological testing, chemical testing, and routine maintenance
• Experience in an FDA QC lab with instrumentation
• Ability to handle a fast pace, high-stress environment while still maintaining acceptable testing results
