**Description**

Assist Head Pro/Site Manager or General Manager with day-to-day operations.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Note: The duties listed here are representative of those typically found in this position for West Seattle Golf. Employees should consult with their manager individually for specific expectations.

* Assist with merchandising

* Assist in managing all golf operations

* Train pro shop and cart attendant staff

* Assist with cashiering duties

* Assist with scheduling

* Coordinate managerial coverage for the course

* Tag Marshall point of contact (pace of play)

* Assist in all West Seattle Golf Club Board requests

* Responsible for tournament operations:

Procure tournaments/sales

Secure dates

Ensure contracts are delivered, signed, and returned

Coordinate with F&B manager

Apply prize funds and credit books

Run course operations

Prepare signs and markers or organize long distance drive markers

Ensure special requests are met

* Other duties to be assigned

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:**

Assists with supervision of the pro shop staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; assist with appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:**

High school diploma or GED required.

**Language Skills**

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and technical procedures. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.

**Math Skills**

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest.

**Reasoning Ability**

Ability to solve pratical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
