About Us
Stanley, a HAVI company, is defined by Creativity, Building and Invention. We are makers of the legendary bottle and box. Driven by purpose, passion and performance. Obsessed with making a difference. And keeping our promises. Proud of our yesterday. And focused on building the team of tomorrow.
Position Overview
The Technical Program Manager, Supply Chain Operations plays a leading role in defining and launching technical programs for the Supply Chain team that support the rapid growth of Stanley. In this role you will facilitate internal and external systems integration efforts such as: enabling near-real time inventory data syncs, onboarding new 3PL and parcel carriers, and enabling our demand planning system. You will use your experience in launching technology programs in e-commerce fulfillment to partner with Finance, Technology, Planning, Fulfillment Operations, Product and 3PL partners teams and deliver successful system integrations.
If you are passionate about using technology to drive world-class supply chain business processes, we want to hear from you!
What You Will Do
Scope and define Supply Chain program requirements, converting them to list of technical requirements and critical milestones for on-time and on-budget program launches and apply technology to solve problems.
Represent the requirements of Stanley's Supply Chain teams to other internal teams (technical and non-technical).
Define and improve team processes and metrics; identify and clear blockers; reduce implementation lead times and costs; improve quality.
Manage large, complex technology initiatives, delivering critical solutions, significant improvements and/or deprecate systems and processes that are no longer needed.
Provide detailed, data-driven insights to identify and prioritize opportunities and to shape program and operational decisions, as well as foresee risks, "join the dots" and drive to resolution.
Proactively build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across a range of businesses, with excellent communication skills
Develop regular program communication and reporting, including launch plans, timelines, status updates, post-launch assessments and performance reviews with attention to detail.
Take ownership and accountability for programs, while maintaining the ability to ask for help, and escalate issues and problems to keep programs on track.
Design mechanisms to reduce bottlenecks, improve communication, identify risks, and gather feedback from a wide range of worldwide stakeholders.
Who You Are
Proven track record of program management in the e-commerce fulfillment operations domain.
Knowledgeable of e-commerce order fulfillment best practices and managing data.
Passionate about providing our customers with an excellent fulfillment experience.
Curious about answering the WHY through the analysis of data.
Proven ability to influence, with varying levels of seniority within an organization.
A resilient, focused problem solver and self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a complex, sometimes ambiguous environment.
Self-directed, proactive and able to define and execute projects independently.
Education and Experience
7 years of relevant technical program management work experience in a large/complex organization.
A technical background with a proven history of diving deep into details (e.g key dependencies, design choices, operability etc.) and drive constructive discussions with IT and engineers.
An engineering background (CS, CE or EEE degree or equivalent experience) is preferred.
Understands system limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and/or the reasons for architectural decisions.
Capable of holding an IT/Technology team to a high standard for both solutions and engineering practices
Capable of reviewing design decisions
Proficiency in written and oral communications; able to produce concise, relevant, strategically driven documents and presentations to leaders.
Interaction and Environment
You will be a key member of the Operations team and will report to a Director of Supply Chain Operations.
Daily work hours flex to build collaborative partnerships and timely communications across multiple geographies and time zones.
Indirectly leads, motivates, and influences a global team, spanning multiple regions and cultures.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
