At-a-Glance: Are you ready to build your career by joining a healthcare provider? If so, our client is hiring a Registered Nurse - Oncology (Day).
What You'll Do:
- Plans, directs and delivers high quality comprehensive nursing care in accordance with Washington State Nurse Practice Act and ASC By-Laws.
- Follows professional standards of nursing practice, procedures, and protocols.
- Under the direct supervision of the LIP provides comprehensive procedural sedation services in collaboration with other members of the ASC health care team.
- Nursing degree (Baccalaureate, Associate or Diploma) from an accredited school of nursing.
- Coursework/Training in conscious sedation and equipment used within the ASC department.
- Washington Registered Nurse License.
- Certifications: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 3 years Recent RN experience in an in-patient care or ASC setting.
- 3 years Recent experience in an ASC or acute care setting: Critical care, Operating Room, Emergency Room, Recovery Room, Endoscopy, GI Lab.
- Preferred:
- Coursework/Training in equipment and instrument Sterilization.
- Coursework/Training in sterile technique.
- Certification in specialty (CCRN Certification, CNOR Certification, or CGRN Certification).
- Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- 40 hrs. per week.
