Overview: Seeking a motivated and self-starter professional to serve as the Senior Purchasing Manager, who will own supply chain management and end-to-end Sourcing-to-Pay management for high impact, high visibility, and high value projects. The Senior Purchasing Manager will manage the strategic relationship for complex suppliers ensuring the best-in-class availability of products and services for Blue Yonder’s most strategic and tactical requirements. Scope: The Senior Purchasing Manager will report directly to the Senior Director, Procurement and will be a part of the Sourcing and Procurement Team leadership and will work in partnership and support of the Senior Manager, Procurement and Senior Manager, Sourcing. The Senior Purchasing Manager will be an integral part of the re-visioning and modernization of the Blue Yonder Procurement Team and as such will be responsible for creating strategic plans and tactical implementations for the plans. Our current technical environment: The office environment that the candidate may work in includes, remote working environments, office working environments, and daily use of Microsoft based computer and software applications and programs. The team routinely makes use of Procure-to-Pay software that includes Service Now and Workday. The candidate should be able to work seamlessly across any technology provided as to not impact the work or product experience in any environment. Travel requirements < 25%. What you’ll do: Use your functional and technical skill to expertly negotiate highly competitive contracts for Blue Yonder, including costs and incentives (rebates, discounts, samples, etc.) and favorable terms and conditions. Drive strategy to ensure business continuity and service fulfillment excellence with largest and most strategic suppliers (risk mitigation and/or contingency plans, etc.) Using the candidate’s experience and tools, leverage industry and category-specific knowledge to collaboratively build out procurement strategies and ensure suppliers meet the immediate and future needs of the business Confidently facilitate the development, transfer and adoption of best practices in the Source-to-Pay lifecycle Using initiative identify and implement process improvement strategies across the assigned stakeholders Provide insight for the development of the Sourcing and Procurement Diverse Supplier strategy Confidently lead cross-functional project teams and/or programs to support business initiatives and objectives Provide day-to-day guidance on workload and escalations for team members, including the COE as needed. Serve as a Point of contact all internal and external Audits of Procurement What we are looking for: Demonstrable experience in sourcing and procurement activities and operations involving large scale, complex, and highly sensitive applications, projects, or requirements. Experience in leading and guiding enterprise-level sourcing and procurement operations, to include, market research, requirements development, negotiations, and analysis. Prior experience in guiding stakeholders in RFx (information, quote, proposal) development, publication, vendor communications, scorecard development, and financial proposal analysis. Strong knowledge of project planning and management in either PMBOK or AGILE methodologies. Expert financial and/or mathematical/statistical analysis capabilities that can confidently portray the value of proposals, offerings, terms, and deal points. A strong understanding and capability to communicate risk and risk mitigation to multiple audiences. A calm ability to communicate concisely with senior leadership and gain agreement, understanding, and approval. A personable demeanor with the ability to foster and maintain strong interpersonal and interdepartmental relationships across peer groups, leadership, project team members, and suppliers that can quickly gain trust in the candidate’s leadership and capabilities. Bachelor’s degree in business, technical management, finance or other relevant field from an accredited university or a minimum of 10 years of progressively increasing responsibilities within sourcing, procurement, finance, purchasing, or technical project management. Working knowledge of source-to-pay/procure-to-pay systems and software. Strategic thought processes on sourcing, competitive bidding, and procurement strategies. #LI-Remote *LI-MH1 ------------------------------------------- The salary range for this role is $125,000.00 to $150,000.00 The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
