Oxford Valley Health is Hiring an Admissions Coordinator Near Scottsdale, AZ
We are seeking a part- time (25-30 hrs/wk) experienced Admissions Coordinator to join our long term care facility. Competitive wages!
Key Responsibilities:
- Reivew medical records, physicans notes and other relevant documents to determine the suitability of potential residents
- Serve as the primary point of contact for families anf referral sources during the admission process
- Conduct tours of the facility and provide detailed ifnormation about services, amenities and care provided
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, hospital discharge planners and social workers to coordinate admissions
- Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely manner
- Maintain complaince with state and federal regulations regarding patient admissions and documentation

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare administration, nursing, social work or a related field.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting in admissions or case management
- Ability to build a rapport with residents, families and healthcare professionals
- Strong empathy and listening skills required
