We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Software Developer Engineer in Test to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through hands-on testing, test automation, and driving the development of testable software methodologies. You will lead by example, fostering a culture of quality within the team and driving the implementation of robust testing practices.

• Working on designing tests / testing during the full lifecycle of application development

• Designing, developing and maintaining test sets and strategies to various products

• Collaborating with peers and stake-holders to identify requirements and take solutions from initial test design to full testing suite

• Working with Support and Escalation teams to help reproduce and root cause customer issues

• Identifying, analyzing, and documenting any defects discovered during testing.

• Continuously looking for test gaps, performing root cause analysis & close loop on customer found defects.

• 8 years of software system testing experience, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Hardware/Software Infrastructure related testing, and system testing using end-to-end Automation
• Hands-on automation in Python, Go, Java, Kotlin and/or similar languages
• Experience in qualifying enterprise products in cloud and container platforms (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with SAN or NAS systems
• Familiarity with Virtualization software.
• Ability to independently deploy and maintain test environments.
• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Natural curiosity with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• You will be based in Santa Clara, CA. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
