Shipping And Receiving Clerk

Pride Health is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for one of the large health systems based out of Santa Ana, California.

Length of Assignment: 18 weeks (With a possible extension)

Shift and Time: Monday to Friday – 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Location - Santa Ana, California (92704)

Pay range - $15 - $17.50 per hour.

Job Summary

This position performs any or all tasks associated with the receiving, pick, packing, and shipping operations of the Western regional client supply fulfillment center.

Job Duties

· Receiving, pallet and box breakdown (with cutting tools)

· Material put away into storage or flow racks.

· Box build.

· Initiating orders on the line

· Pre-packaging and counting

· Material transfers

· Physical inventor

· Item picking and proper placement.

· Packing with air pillows and tape guns

· Shipping and affixing labels

· Pallet preparation

· Loading trucks and filling/confirming orders.

· Other duties may include offline filling of orders, labeling, safe operation of material handling equipment such as forklift or pallet jacks, moving/lifting, and general cleanup.

· Must comply with work instructions and corporate policies including safety and material management.

· Able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

· Two years of warehouse experience

· Shipping software and label printing.

· Ability to lift to fifty pounds.

· Item recognition and counting

· Proper packaging techniques.

· Safe lifting and cutting practices.
