Description

This is a part-time vacancy with the Santa Ana Police Department. The incumbent(s) may work up to 20 hours per week. Work schedule is to be determined.
At this time, there is one vacancy but this number is subject to change.Bilingual pay is an additional $1.01 / hr.

Essential Functions Include But Are Not Limited To
make presentations to members of the community; perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school. At least 6 months of any equivalent combination of training and experience in education and / or recreation, or related work, which provides the desirable knowledge, skills and abilities associated with the position.
Possession and retention of a valid California Class C driver's license is a condition of employment. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is also required.
DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Ability to : Work in a team environment and as an individual, work outside in all weather conditions, communicate effectively in English and Spanish, using proper grammar and spelling, both verbally and in writing;
operate current office software and equipment and educational software applications; work with large groups of all ages.
Special Requirement : Must be willing and able to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings on an occasional basis;
must be able to lift, push, and carry up to 20 lbs.
