Job Title: Skilled Laborer

Job Overview

The construction skilled labor will work on construction projects, usually working in a multi task capacity, by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision by performing the following duties. All construction skilled laborers work directly under the supervision of a construction foreman and are required to follow the building plans created by architects.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Transports materials, tools and supplies.
• Perform duties to the highest safety and quality standards in accordance to company standards.
• Assist with the demo phase of a project as job dictates.
• Operate tools & equipment.
• Some skill in plumbing, framing, electrical, and any other trades.
• Knowledgable in current California Codes.
• Helps load and unload materials, tools and supplies.
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Assist on site Project Manager or Foreman with any miscellaneous tasks.
• Reports to different work sites to complete required tasks/projects.
• Delivers quality, efficiency, productivity and safe work practices.
• Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a clean environment.
• Performs take-off / preconstruction on every project.
• Build, install, and repair structural woodwork, flooring, ceilings and cabinetry; operate, maintain, and calibrate hand and power carpentry tools; read and comprehend plans and blueprints.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
