Founded in 1961, Sandy Spring Friends School is a progressive, coed, academically-rigorous day and boarding school serving approximately 700 students from age three through 12th grade. 2024-2025 - Lower School Early Elementary Teacher (Kindergarten - 3rd Grade)

Summary: The Lower School (PK3 - 5th grade) seeks a dynamic and experienced homeroom teacher. Our program elevates research-informed, child-centered, inquiry-based, experiential learning. The successful candidate will be flexible, organized, creative and collaborative with a sound understanding of multi-modal teaching, embedding social-emotional learning throughout the day, and classroom management.
